Historically relegated to a blending grape, Ortrugo has been vinified as a single variety for almost fifty years. The vineyards sit on gently sloping plots, chosen to restrain the naturally generous yield of this grape.
Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled steel tanks to preserve its delicate aromas. After three months on the lees the wine is ready for its second fermentation and then for bottling.
