Malvasia di Candia Aromatica is considered the queen of Piacenza's white grapes. Generously aromatic, it has been grown on these Emilian hills for centuries, so admired that even Leonardo da Vinci planted a small vineyard of it on his own land.
Its great versatility allows for different vinifications and styles: the frizzante version comes from the younger vineyards which, keeping the bunches well shaded, give the wine its freshness and spontaneity.
