This wine is born from a selection of the finest grapes of the oldest vineyard in the Berganzina area, the Rastello vineyard. In 2017, for the first time, we chose to vinify it separately, to bring out the character that only a vineyard planted in 1962 can give.
The idea is that a deliberately «simple» vinification can give structure, body and longevity to a white wine too. Bottled after around six months on the lees, it is released after at least another six months of bottle ageing.
